Management Training Series
So you are the manager...now what?

Succeeding in the manager role in healthcare requires a varied set of competencies and they are different from those which got you promoted. Managing in today's economy, managing human resources, managing communication and doing all of these while maintaining a balance of self are only some of the challenges facing you. Other essential skills include delegating, projecting confidence, providing feedback, "managing up", conflict management, and strategic thinking, plus much more.

If you are a new manager/supervisor or have been in this role for some time but need a refresher in these skills; this five (5) day series is for you. You will receive practical information which you will be able to apply in your daily work setting and you will feel more confident in your abilities to function effectively. Participants can register for individual sessions or the series.

The Northern Illinois Healthcare Education Network is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Illinois Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
