Powerful Presenters: Learning and Enjoying...What a concept!
As an educator, you want your audience to be engaged in the learning process and leave your presentation saying "Wow! That was a lot of fun and I actually learned something!" Being a good presenter is about more than great PowerPoint slides. It's about having the ability to actively engage the learner creatively.
Powerful and effective presentations begin with a systematic preparation. They start with a needs assessment and finish with post training strategies for support and skill practice. In between is a teaching session which provides learners the opportunity to engage in their own learning process through a participant centered approach.
This education session is intended to provide the educators with information and experiential exercises to improve their ability to facilitate learning so their learners will leave with the skills to apply to their work. Content will include the adult learning principles, the necessary steps in preparation, course design and training techniques intended to increase retention.
